I’m Andrea, and over the last 12 years, I’ve worked across a wide range of projects from animated feature films, music videos and short films to motion graphics for advertising as well as plenty of freelance commissions.

 

I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with some of Ireland’s most talented creatives, as well as creating work for well known global corporate clients. No matter the project, my goal is always the same, to create characters, artwork and stories to remember.

Alongside my industry work, I lecture part-time at Belfast MET, teaching digital animation, illustration, and motion graphics. Staying active in the industry keeps my skills sharp, while teaching allows me to share that knowledge with the next generation of storytellers.

One of my favourite pastimes is exploring Ireland’s rich tapestry of myths, folklore, and ghost stories. I collect as many old tales as I can from whispered superstitions to epic legends and breathe new life into them through vibrant animation and illustration. This is my way of keeping the ancient tradition of Irish storytelling alive, to be passed on to younger audiences through the magic of animation.
